Our second attempt… This is the second Supermileage vehicle that Preble students built in 2000-2001. It had an aluminum chassis with a fiberglass body. We took all we learned from our first year and applied it to this vehicle. We ended up placing 4th at UW Stout’s Challenge in stock class. Not too bad of an improvement in one year. The next year we reworked the fiberglass shell and repainted it silver with green flames. This was also our first year taking our vehicles to Road America, where we placed 1st in stock class! |
