Electrathon #55

The NAPA racer was built during the 2007-08-competition year.  Although this vehicle was our old XRV with a new paint job, it still had revisions.  The vehicle utilized a two-speed jackshaft assembly, custom hydraulic disk brakes and Briggs and Stratton ETEK electric.  This vehicle took second in the endurance race held at Wisconsin International Raceway.  Ironically, it came in second by only 2 laps to a three wheeled, bicycle rimmed, and aluminum chassis electrathon.  Not too bad for a four wheeled, DOT rubbered, steel chassis, full suspension vehicle that was three times the size.
