#11 Electrathon

Our first true electrathon vehicle was built for the 2004-05 electrathon competition year. This vehicle utilized the independent suspension system from our #53 Pod Car. #11 was designed and manufactured to fit a very small driver. It was also our first chassis built to meet the electrathon rules. This vehicle also holds the distinction of being the first electrathon to test at Road America.

One major issue for this vehicle was tire wear. Due to the placement of batteries, the front tires took a beating on a tight, short track.

This vehicle was extensively modified for the 2005-06 electrathon competition year. The batteries were moved to reduce front tire wear, and a new body was designed.

This chassis was extremely successful for us. This vehicle won every endurance race it entered.
